This live edge Y-slab of the historic Sentinel Oak tree, made by experienced Amish craftsmen, has been made into the piece of artfully crafted furniture pictured here. We named this live edge slab Cross Current because of its interesting grain patterns. This coffee table top has beautiful movement of the wood grain from where the two branches grew and separated. With the bark removed, it reveals the center of the table with extraordinary beauty. Epoxy has been skillfully utilized to enhance the table's natural beauty. The pedestal is also manufactured by local Amish craftsmen and constructed of hot rolled steel with a powder coated flat black finish.
